Can Manchester City win treble this season?

 Manchester City is one of the best teams in Europe this season. The club won the premier league 2022/23 season with 89 points. This team has won three premier league titles in a row.  Also, the highest scorer of this season is Erling Haaland who plays for this team. He scored a record-breaking 36 goals this season. Kevin De Bryne of this team became the top assist maker with 16 assists. Erling Haaland won the 2022/23 Premier League Player of the Year Award as well as the 2022/ 23 Young Premier League Player of the Year Award. He became only the third player ever to win both of these prestigious awards in a single season after Cristiano Ronaldo in the 2006/07 season and Gareth Bale in the 2012/13 season.

The team is full of extraordinary players and their co-ordination is out of this world. Manchester City have won 5 Premier League titles in six years. The team has continuously proved themselves as one of the best in Europe. The team was very close to winning their first European trophy in the 2020/21 season where they reached the finals of UEFA Champions League. However, they were defeated by their Premier League rivals, Chelsea in the finals with a 1-0 score. The next season, the team reached the semi-finals of the champions league but faced a defeat by European giants, Real Madrid who later went on to become the champions. 

In this 2022/23 season, the club has managed to reach the finals of the UEFA Champions League after defeating Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals and the defending champion, Real Madrid in the semi-finals. The club will be facing the Italian Club, Inter Milan in the finals of the competition. The finals will be held on June 11, 2023. Manchester City has already become the premier League champions this season and has also won the FA Cup this season after defeating their rivals, Manchester United in the finals with a score of 2-1. 

After already winning two titles this season and reaching the finals in the champions league, the club is the favorite to win the champions league. The club can win the treble this season if they win the champions league trophy. The team has not lost a single game this season in the champions league. The team can become only the eighth European team to ever complete a treble in football history. They are favorites to win UEFA Champions League and to win treble this season. This Manchester City is a super team that has dominated the English premier league for a few years and now seems to place their mark in football history by winning a European trophy. 

Manchester City is not the only team who can win a treble this season, but another champions league finalist, Inter Milan can also complete a treble this season if they defeat Manchester City in the finals against all odds. Though Inter couldn't win the Serie A title this season, they have already won the Coppa Italia title and Supercopa Italiana trophy this season. So, Inter can also repeat their treble of 2010-11 season in this 2022-23 season.
